Goldylocks and the three bears

One day the mother bear was making porig.The father bear tried the porig. It was to hot so they went for a walk in the forist.Well the three bears went for a walk a little girl was skiping through the the forist then she saw a door that was open so she went in.She saw a big bowl of porig she tried it but was to hot. She saw a meddie side she tried it but it was to swet. So she tried the small bowl and it was just write so she ate it all up. Then she went into the livingroom she sat on father bears chria but it was to haind so she tried mother bears chria but it was to soft so she tried the babby bears chria so she sat down but she brock it. My Halloween

The Fisherman and his Wife

Room 27 have been busy making a musical story this week! Each student created a picture from the tale "The Fisherman and his Wife." In our music lesson with Miss Smol the children worked in small groups to compose short pieces to accompany our story. We hope you enjoy our work! Poss comes to meadowbank

When Poss came to Meadowbank school room 27 were very exctied about getting Poss! Poss is a poseum that comes from Australia. Poss comes from Seppel Primary, and room 27 is going to take him on a little trip around our school! The first photo we took was Poss in room 27. The next photo we took was Poss on the class room steeps. then we took Poss to see Purlen and her job is the officer of the school, she is also the helper that works in sick bay. After that we went to the playgound and took some photo's of Poss on the plaground! then we moved off to the sandpit. The sandpit is right by the playground. After the sandpit we went down to the school gully. At the school gully the are lots of different types of plants for exarmple Flaxs and probly a lot more! When you walk down the path there will be a little brige ledding to the anthe therter where we took another photo of Poss! When we got out of the gully we went up to the senior feild ( which is humonges. ) That is the end of the tour with Poss!

When I was two years old I started kindergarten. I went to two kindys I went to meadowbank kindy and uplands kindy. In the mornings I go to meadowbank kindy and in the afternoons I go to uplands kind. Both of the kindys are really fun to go to! My best friends was called Holly and Paris. My meadowbank kindergarten teachers are Shally and Nelly and my upland kindergarten teachers are Glorea and Robin.

When I was three years old I went on a holiday to Lindermine island. It was really fun at Lindermine island. I hang upside down on the tripeze and I did a backwords flip on the trampaline. My other sisters were too afrad.

When I was five years old I started school. I went to meadowbank school. My first teacher was Miss Mellsop. Miss Mellsop was a really nice teacher inded. the hungry crocodile was sorry she had tried to eat mrs chicken. i am sorry she said. She offered to take mrs chicken and her chicks back across the river. yes please said mrs chicken. the chicks all clambered aboard crocodile's back and then they set off across the river. Room 27's blogging

Our lovely class of Year 2 children started learning how to blog about three weeks ago. I must admit I had never tried blogging before and at first there was a lot to learn! Mr Kinane, our ICT expert, came and helped us out. He has been working with groups of children on Friday mornings and has been teaching them (and me!) what to do. Today the Kakariki group had a go at doing it independently and although the internet was very slow, they were very patient indeed! Well done Room 27! I am very proud of how quickly you have learnt how to use this blog! Hopefully you will continue to use it regularly both at school and at home too!
