Earth
Earth is our home planet. It is the 3rd planet from the sun. It is the only planet with water. If the Earth were farther away from the sun the water's would freeze. If the Earth were closer to the sun the water would BOIL!

We have been learning about 'oi words like 'boiling' at Woodford. We also learned about things that change when they are heated or frozen. We think it is lucky that the Earth is just the right distance from the sun so the sea does not boil or freeze. But Sam would like to go ice skating if the sea froze.
